Tooth extractions can solve a variety of issues. Here are some common symptoms and problems that could signal the need for a tooth extraction in Allen:
A visibly damaged or decayed tooth that can’t be treated with a filling.
A tooth infection that has damaged a tooth beyond repair.
Your teeth are crowded and there won’t be enough room in your mouth to undergo orthodontic treatment unless one or more are removed.
Wisdom teeth are impacted because there isn’t enough space in your jaw to allow them to healthily grow in.
Permanent teeth have become loose as a result of gum disease.
Not everybody has wisdom teeth, but many people who do end up needing to have them removed if there isn’t enough room in their mouth to let them grow in. If they become stuck beneath the gums, they can become infected, decayed, or cause your other teeth to become misaligned.
Sometimes you may have issues with multiple teeth. We can easily guide you through all of the necessary information so that you can be as comfortable as possible for these extractions. It's not uncommon for people to need multiple teeth extracted due to large cavities on multiple teeth.
